We lead lives of comfort and convenience in our modern societies, but we also generate large amounts of waste. When local authorities incinerate domestic waste, it leaves behind incinerator ash. We must also cope with industrial waste, and even industrial waste subject to special controls requiring advanced control technologies.
CDK has developed vitrification and detoxification technologies to process such waste in ferroalloy and dedicated waste furnaces, and runs recycling operations in its environmental services unit.
CDK takes in incinerator ash from domestic waste generated by local authorities, subjects it to vitrification and detoxification, and recycles it into roadbed material and other useful products.
Our processes break down dioxins in high-temperature vitrification by means of electric-resistance heating and neutralize the toxicity of heavy metals. CDK also achieves process stability and volume reduction.
Recycling waste as eco-slag, CDK has developed such applications as roadbed material, embankment material and porous landscaping pavement.
