Ferroalloys are auxiliary materials essential to the production of high-quality steel. CDK produces manganese ferroalloys with two large electric furnaces boasting 14-meter diameters.
Taking advantage of a favorable location neighboring the Sumitomo Metal Industries Kashima steelworks, which serves as the core of an iron and steel industrial complex, the CDK Kashima plant operates full-capacity night shifts when electric power tariffs are low to supply product at low, internationally competitive prices.
